1. Apply some denatured alcohol, such as methylated spirits, to a dry towel and then press the towel onto the spot for 10 seconds.
2. Dampen a cloth with water and press it onto the spot. Be careful not to rub the carpet as this will result in permanent damage to your carpet fibre.
3. Dry the wet area with a clean towel by pressing it onto the stain.
4. Repeat this method until you cannot remove any more colour or until it’s gone.
